Incoming shipments to Oman are subject to the customs law, which is 5% of the invoice value, except for the exempted, due to the existence of an international agreement on customs exemption between the Sultanate of Oman and the other country. Shipments issued or transiting from Oman to any country are not subject to customs or value added.
The shipment will be cleared with a discount of 2% of the invoice value. Customs will give you 90 days to bring the original documents to refund the discounted amount. In the event that the original documents are not brought, the amount will be forfeited.
